    Under The Axe: Jason Rubin
Earlier this year, we had a lengthy discussion after Naughty Dog co-founder Jason Rubin appeared on The Bonus Round to discuss emerging business models in the game industry. Ever since then, we’ve been anxious for a chance to speak with him ourselves. On this week’s episode of the EpicBattleCry podcast, we shared a brief snippet of our discussion, so today, we’re excited to bring you the full conversation, un-edited, un-censored, and un-merciful.

Digital distribution, emerging models, and whether or not these new trends will be good for both publishers and players, you DO NOT want to miss this episode as we go Under The Axe with Jason Rubin.

  • Under The Axe 002: Jim Sterling

    Under The Axe: Jim Sterling
Back in Skirmish 83, we tackled one of the most significant issues in the gaming biz: reviews. Its a heated topic among many gamers and we had plenty to say on the matter. We were also full of opinions on Destructoid.com reviews editor Jim Sterling. Mr. Sterling is a polarizing figure for many readers; just as likely to be accused of bias as acclaimed for his (brutal) honesty. We thought it only fair to get his side of the story, so we were thrilled when Jim agreed to go Under The Axe and share his thoughts on ratings, reviews, and the abuse we dished out in EpicBattleCry 83.

We never tire of hearing what you think, so hit us back in the comments and share your thoughts on game reviews, scores, and, of course, Mr. Sterling.
